The world does not listen to the good guys.

The good guys are too gentle.

Most good guys do not understand that the "kingdom of God" suffereth violence and that the violent taketh it by force.

You see the bad guys?

They have no time for peace talks.

If there is going to be a peace talk, there must first be violence.

So?  They go for it by force.

They put violence forward knowing that the majority of the people are preoccupied with basic wants.

They just want to feed.

Earn a salary.

Pay bills.

Have sex, lots of it.

No complaints.

No questions asked.

The bad guy just puts pure ambition forward and worry later.

He wants more and knows the role of violence.

Oh yes, they know that power indeed is not given. It is taken.

In his days, Pablo Escobar never waited for the war to come. He took it to where the money was.

From selling Marijuana in the city of Medellin and around Colombia to the neighbouring countries like Mexico, and then to taking it into the United States of America and graduating into becoming the leader of the global cocaine trade.

He took the world by force and became the first Narco-billionaire in the history of the world.

When he ran for office, he continued with his philosophy of peace or war and even killed the Minister of Justice as well as bombed an entire Ministry of Justice in Colombia after they tried to extradite him.

The ideology is christened "Pluto O'plomo", meaning silver or bullet.

Yahaya Bello must have learnt a lot about Pablo Escobar or has the right men around him to bring the point home.

Elections are not won by niceties. Indeed, politics is war by other means.

You do not need to be told.

Do not fool yourself. This is not the USA.

At best, this is Nigeria mimicking the USA of the 1800s.

His street campaign slogan is in the open and it resonates very clearly with his Ebira people as it is delivered in the same language.+

His version of Pluto O'Plomo is "Eva Wu Enya Ireyi" meaning that "They will hear the sound of our equipment.

"Ekeni edo eva wu enya ireyi them go hear am....tatatatata.

"If they say they won’t agree, they will hear the sound of our equipment....tatatatatata."

In Kogi State yesterday, it rained bullets rhythmically. Even the Nigerian prince of Freestyle, MI Abaga, could not have freely given us such a free reign of "bulleting".

We saw clearly, the Ebira version of Pablo Escobar's ‘Pluto O' Plomo’.

Silver or led.

Money or bullet

Vote or die!

There is problem in the land.

Election is war.

The educated are timid.

The "uneducated" are courageous.

This life does not belong to the educated.

It belongs to the courageous.

Head or tail, the bad guys have it!

What can you do for power?

What will you do for power?

What you can and will do will depend greatly whether you get power or not.

However, if you are a good guy that won’t give power what is required to get it so you can put it to good use, you have inadvertently given the bad guy the go ahead.

This world?

No, it doesn’t belong to the good guys.

It belongs totally to the bad guys and there is nothing you can do about it.

Is there?

May Nigeria succeed!

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have raided a farming village in Adamawa State, killing six members of a local vigilante group in the process.

The rampaging terrorists stormed Aljannaru, a village between Adamawa and Borno states on Sunday morning.

A local, David Yaro, told SaharaReporters that, "They arrived before dawn riding camels, with herds of cows destroying farms.

"They then climbed a hill overlooking the village and opened fire sporadically, before carrying out house-to-house attacks.

"They killed six persons assisting with security."

A security source, who does not want his name mentioned, also said that the gunmen wielded sophisticated weapons including AK 47 riffles during the attack.

Modibbo Tola, a senior member of the hunters group in the state, confirmed the killing of their members, saying, ‘’Yes, I can confirm to you that we lost six members during the attack by the gunmen riding on camels.

"While we mourn our members including a top official in Gombi Unit, we will continue to help our people by providing security."

Rev. Fr. Theophilus Ndulue

Advocacy group, Human Rights Writers  Association of Nigeria has condemned the kidnapping of a Catholic priest, Rev. Father Theophilus Ndulue in Enugu State.

The group in a statement on Sunday by its National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, and the National Media Affairs Director, Zainab Yusuf, stated that it thinks there are kidnapping cells in Enugu State with specific instructions to target Catholic priests with a view to instigating bloody religious upheavals in the South-East of Nigeria.

The group asked the Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to approach his colleagues in the five states in the region with a view to mapping out security strategies to confront the increasing spate of violent.

HURIWA said, "We expect that a state like Enugu that has continuously witnessed grave breaches of the right to safety of her citizens ought to have embarked on far-reaching measures with a view to stamping out this menace.

"It would seem  that the Enugu State governor would have to engage the other regional governors in the other five South-East states of Nigeria so the issue of security breaches are given effective regional solution."

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will be launching a ‘new handbook on counter-terrorism investigations’ developed exclusively for Nigerian investigators working in the counter-terrorism arena.

The handbook will help bolster the fight against insurgency and terrorism in the country.

According to UNODC working in conjunction with the European Union and the Nigeria Police Force, the new Nigeria handbook on counter-terrorism investigations is designed to help investigators develop the skills and approaches necessary to ensure that evidence left behind at crime scenes are recovered and analysed, that investigative leads are effectively identified and pursued, and that potential intelligence opportunities are leveraged and exploited.

The UNODC noted that each terrorist incident poses unique and significant challenges to the law enforcement and security professionals charged both with finding the individuals responsible, along with those, who supported and directed them, and also with the weighty responsibility of trying to prevent the next attack.

In his foreword to the handbook, Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Adamu, welcomed the launch of handbook and thanked UNODC for its contribution to Nigeria’s struggle against terrorism.

UNODC Country Representative to Nigeria, Mr Oliver Stolpe, added that by combining sound foundational principles with the latest advances in forensic science and investigative best practice, “There is a hope that the handbook will become an indispensable aid for police trainers working across the country, and help a new generation of Nigerian counter-terrorism investigators to hold offenders to account and deliver justice to their victims.”

Ambassador Ketil Karlsen, Head of the European Union Delegation to Nigeria, emphasised the important role that law enforcement can play in combatting terrorism.

He said, “The EU is supporting the fight against terrorism and violent extremism in Nigeria in a comprehensive and multifaceted way.

“A key focus is on backing Nigerian-led initiatives that strengthen criminal justice responses to terrorism.”

Natasha Akpoti

Barrister Natasha Akpoti, candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the Kogi governorship election, has rejected the outcome of the exercise in the state and also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to cancel the result.

Akpoti, in a petition sent to the INEC, said the election was marred by violence and electorates were stopped from exercising their rights by thugs brandishing different kinds of weapons.

She said that the thugs, clearly loyalists of the All Progressives Congress, were acting in support with the security agents.

Akpoti also described the election as “far-cry from credible election” and one that “cannot pass the test of fairness and credibility”.

She said, “In the 780 polling units of the Kogi Central Senatorial District, elections did not hold as a result of the violence unleashed by APC-led thugs whom attacked voters, electoral officials and electoral materials destroyed and/or burnt.

“The APC-led thugs were shooting at voters, which resulted in deaths of voters.

“The thugs in most cases were shielded by security agents, who are supposed to provide security for the citizenry.”

She added that agents of the SDP were chased away from polling units with voters barred from coming near the polling booth unless they would vote for Yahaya Bello of the APC.

She lamented that the name of her party was missing on some result sheets and 2015 stamps were seen on ballot papers.

She added, “In few of the polling units where there was a semblance of conduct of election, there were no result sheets.

“Ballot papers already thumb-printed by voters in favour of Social Democratic Party already tucked into the ballot boxes were sorted out by the APC-led thugs and burnt.”

“The election as it is cannot pass the test of fairness and credibility. Whatever gains INEC seem to have achieved in the conduct of elections in the past will be completely eroded if the election in Kogi Central Senatorial District and some other parts of Kogi is allowed to stand.”

Farooq Kperogi, a critic and commentator, has claimed that four
relatives of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari are actively working
in Aso Rock, transmuting from being paupers to enjoying a presidential
treatment.

Many Nigerians are of the view that nepotism is a form of corruption.

Kperogi, a professor of Journalism and Emerging Media at Kennesaw
State University (in the United States) in a Twitter thread, said the
quartet had transmuted from paupers before President Buhari's
assumption of office in 2015 to persons of affluence.

Kperogi listed the names of the four as Abdulkarim Dauda, Sabiu
'Tunde' Yusuf, Dauda 'Zeze' Habu, and Musa Haro.

"I've confirmed these names from multiple sources in Daura and the
Presidential Villa: 1. Abdulkarim Dauda. He is Buhari’s Personal Chief
Security Officer (PCSO). Like Mamman Daura, he is Buhari’s nephew. His
father, Dauda Daura, is Buhari's half-brother from the same father. He
is de facto president Mamman Daura’s full biological brother.

"I exposed a recent secret memo Buhari sent to the Nigeria Police
(where Abdulkarim is officially employed as Commissioner of Police
after 3 unnaturally rapid promotions in three years) instructing it to
circumvent time-honored public service rules & extend his service till
2023 even though he should've retired this year on account of being in
d police for 35 yrs," he stated.

The tweet continued, "2. Sabiu “Tunde” Yusuf. He's Buhari’s, Private
Secretary. Don’t be deceived by the “Tunde” in his name. It’s just a
nickname, probably inspired by Tunde Idiagbon, Buhari’s deputy when he
was a military dictator. Sabiu is the son of Mamman Daura’s full
biological sister by the name of Hajia Halima (more popularly known as
“Hajja Madam” in Daura) who died last year. As you should know by now,
Mamman Daura’s sister is Buhari’s niece since their father (Dauda
Daura) is Buhari’s much older half-brother.

"Sabiu, who is in his 30s, is one of the most powerful people in
Nigeria today. He determines who sees and who doesn’t see Buhari. Only
Mamman Daura and Abba Kyari can overrule him. By several accounts, he
is now a billionaire, although he had no formal work experience before
Buhari became president. He used to sell recharge cards in Daura until
2015!"

Tweeting further, Kperogi noted: "3. Dauda “Zeze” Habu. He's Senior
Personal Assistant to Abba Kyari, the de facto acting president/VP.
His father, Habu Kurma, is Mamman Daura's younger brother. (Kurma is
the Hausa word for deaf. He’s called Kurma because he’s deaf, but this
isn’t derogatory in Hausa culture where people are habitually
identified by their disability).

"4. Musa Haro. He is PA (Domestic Affairs) to Buhari. His mother,
Hajia Kwalla, is Buhari’s biological sister. Hajia Kwalla is a twin.
Her twin sister is called Hajia Amadodo. My friends from Daura told me
last week that Musa “ just bribed the Emir of Daura to be conferred
with the traditional title of Dan Madamin Daura."

Kperogi mentioned two other names of Buhari's relatives currently
serving in his regime.

He explained in his tweet, "Bonus: 5. Ahmed Rufa'i Zakari. He's
Special Adviser to the President on Infrastructure. He isn’t Buhari’s
biological relative, but he is his relative by marriage and informal
adoption. Ahmed’s mother is Mrs. Amina Zakari, the controversial INEC
commissioner who, along with compromised INEC chairman Mahmood Yakubu,
helped Buhari to rig the 2019 election.

"Buhari’s older sister was married to Amina Zakari’s father, the late
Alhaji Hussaini Adamu. Apart from being Buhari’s in-law, the late
Hussaini Adamu also raised Buhari for some time after Buhari’s father
died, so he was, in a sense, Buhari’s adoptive father."

Speaking further, the vocal critic of Buhari's regime said, in the
tweet: "6. The House of Representatives member representing the
Daura/Sandamu/MaiAdua Federal constituency by the name of Fatihu
Muhammad is the son of Buhari’s older brother by the name of Muhammadu
"Mamman" Danbafale.

"Fatihu became the APC candidate without “proper primary,” as a source
told me. Also remember that Buhari created an entire ministry for his
dabino-stealing former mistress, Ms. Sadiya Umar Farouq. I doubt that
there’s any parallel in Nigeria’s history for the magnitude and
severity of nepotism and personalization of power that we’re seeing
now."

An Appeal Court sitting in Owerri on Saturday sacked Obinna
Onwubuariri, the member representing Isiala Mbano/Onuimo/Okigwe
federal constituency of Imo in the House of representatives.

The court also nullified the election of Uju Onwudiwe of the Action
Alliance (AA) representing Njaba state constituency and ordered fresh
elections in 12 polling units within 90 days.

The PDP candidate, Charles Abia had challenged the victory of Onwudiwe
in the appeal court.

The Chairman of the Panel, Justice R.N Pemu, who read the judgment,
said that the election that brought Onwubuariri of the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) to power on February 23 was not in tandem with
the electoral act of 2010, as amended.

The appellate court said the lower court was right to have ordered a
fresh election in the federal constituency.

Pemu said the petitioner, Miriam Onuoha of the All Progressives
Congress (APC), was able to prove her allegations of over-voting,
mutilation of figures and violence which marred the election.

The court, therefore, ordered the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return it had earlier
issued Onwubuariri and conduct a fresh election in the entire federal
constituency within 90 days.

The tribunal had sacked Onwubuariri, but the lawmaker dissatisfied
with the judgment appealed the judgment.

The International Energy Agency says in its November report that the global demand for oil would have reduced by 90,000 barrels per day at the end of the year.

Although the volume is insignificant, the demand for petroleum has not dropped since 2009 – the climax of the global economic crisis, IEA figures said.

The energy institute reiterated its forecast of a million barrel per day reduction in the call for crude oil produced by countries in the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries which Nigeria is a member of.

“For 2019 as a whole, crude demand is likely to decline for the firsttime since 2009, albeit by only 90 kb/d. This partly explains the relative weakness of crude prices for most of 2019,” the report said.

For the third quarter of 2019 however, global oil demand surged by 1.1m barrels daily.

The IEA observed a decline in refining activities within the third quarter of 2019 as well. It said the volume of crude oil used by refiners and for direct burn in power generation declined by 300 kb/d through 3Q19.

The agency blamed the drop in the volume of crude burned by refineries on the ‘cyclical nature of refining that overproduces in some years and then slows down to clear product stock overhang.

On the supply side, the IEA said there was a 1.5 million increase in the volume of crude oil supplied to the market, thanks to Saudi Arabia. Countries outside OPEC and its Russian alliance — Canada, Norway, and the USA, also contributed to the increase in supply as well.

This is a reflection of the agency’s projection that demand for OPEC’s oil would reduce in 2020, while those outside the cartel will opt theirs to about 2.3m daily.

It said a new country – Guyana will join the burst and boom oil market.

The sole bright piece of news from a Nigerian angle in the oil market report for November 2019, is the easing off of the trade feud between the US and China, which caused the price of a barrel of Brent to rise by $2 to $62 on an average in October.

Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, has accused the General Officer Commanding 6th Division of the Nigerian Army, Sharham Jamil, of compromising security in favour of the All Progressives Congress.

The governor said that even though Gen. Sarham had been transferred to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, he refused to move and waited behind to supervise the use of the army to perpetrate electoral crimes and irregularities in the state's election.

He noted that the GOC and the Brigade Commander of the Artillery Brigade attached soldiers to all APC leaders in all the wards, who they used to terrorise people from one polling unit to another.

Dickson said, “I am accusing the GOC of the 6th Brigade, Major General Sharham Jamil, of delaying his handing over process after his transfer to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, to perfect this illegal mission of rigging the election in Bayelsa.

“He and the Brigade Commander of Artillery Brigade,  Elele, Lt Col Wase, are the ones attaching soldiers to all APC chieftains in every ward to rig the election in all the polling units.

“The  President has to wake up and do something; this is not a democracy;  what is going on in Bayelsa in the name of an election is not a democracy."
